Your guide to choosing the right day care school for your child

Because all parents always want the best for their child and constantly pray for their wellbeing, it is not unusual to see them shell out some extra bucks for their child’s comfort and education. Unfortunately, an exorbitant amount is not always synonymous with quality, and as parents, you need to put in extra effort to ensure that your child is in the best day care facility/school possible. Following are the factors on the basis of which you can evaluate your child’s day care arrangements:

1.Safety comes first
When visiting a prospective day care centre, take a good look around to see the safety arrangements of the place. Make sure there are no potentially dangerous objects or appliances around, or if there are, they are out of reach for the kids. You could even ask the centre to provide you with the details of their precautionary measures and safety protocols to put your mind at ease.

2.Communication flow
It is extremely important to maintain a consistent flow of communication with your child’s caregiver. Hence, before deciding upon a day care school, parents should have a detailed interaction with the caregiver. The mode of communication, frequency of reports, etc. should be decided beforehand itself. For instance, my aunt visits my cousin’s day care school in Noida from Genesis global School once a week to have a personal interaction with the teacher. Some day care schools also have fixed days for meetings.

3.Is your child learning?
Learning here could refer to good habits, alphabets, reading, or even more advanced concepts. Since parents and teachers differ on the right age of children before exposing them to a set curriculum, it’s better that the parents and caregiver both are on the same page right from the start.

Similarly, you could have your own set of parameters to judge on, when looking for schools for your child. There are many great public schools in Noida like the Genesis Global School offering quality education for the students. But before enrolling your child in any school, I reiterate that you do a thorough research. Best of luck!

Benefits of Extra Curricular Activities in Boarding Schools

Boarding schools have a lot to offer to students other than education. Apart from academics, boarding schools are known to offer their students a plethora of extra-curricular activities which aims to provide the students a holistic development. My cousin went to one of the renowned boarding schools in Noida, and he has emerged to be an all rounder after the completion of his school. He has excelled in academics, sports and music!

Till date many parents hesitate sending their children to boarding schools. There are so many best residential schools in India that provide excellent facilities for the student and extra curricular activities are highly emphasised on. Here are a few benefits of these activities on young students:

Time management
If a student is involved in a lot of activities, time management will come naturally to him. He would automatically learn how and what to prioritize. Shuffling between several activities becomes easy for them which helps them in the future as well.

Exploring talents
Children often have potential in them with which they can explore by getting involved in diverse activities. For example, my cousin didn’t know he was such a talented singer unless he joined a group in his school and he was even groomed for the future!

Socially active
Any career in this age would require a person to be skilled in terms of communication and have to be socially active to maintain cordial relationships with everyone. Extra curricular activities make students develop strong communication skills which would help them grow socially.

It is advisable for parents to send their children to boarding schools at least for a few years so that they get a holistic development. It is useless to be so sceptical about boarding schools as they have nothing but benefits to offer to your children.

Advantages of sending your child to a boarding school

There has always been a debate whether boarding schools are better than day schools or not. There are people who believe that day schools are best for children, while there are others who think that boarding schools provide the right education environment for complete development of a child. It has been seen that parents often get confused as to which school to select for their children. There are a number of reasons why boarding schools are  better than day care schools. Besides academics, sports and extra co-curricular activities, there are various other reasons for the growing popularity of boarding schools.

Boarding schools are the best place for students to learn discipline and punctuality. It has often been seen that naughty and hyperactive children are send to boarding schools to bring a change in their attitude and make them more disciplined. This is because these schools follow a strict time table and provide an environment where students learn punctuality and discipline. Punctuality is not only followed in academics, but also in the extra curricular activities conducted. Besides this, the number of children in classes of best boarding schools are much less than in public schools. This allows better interaction between teachers and students. It also help teachers to give individual attention to each and every child, especially the ones who are lagging behind in studies. These schools are perfect for families where both parents are working and do not have much time to spend with their children.

If you also want to send your child to a boarding school, you can choose any of the international day boarding schools in Delhi like Genesis Global School. They have excellent infrastructure and facilities which will make sure that your child gets the right educational environment. These schools have facilities for conducting sports and extra curricular activities, ensuring holistic development of the child.

School learning stays forever!

There’s no denying that schooling is the most memorable part of our lives. The prime reason to it, I believe is the life-long elements that our schools have offered us- in all respects. We made best of the friends in our schools and what we learnt in our schools would also stay with us forever!

Be it a day school in Noida or a boarding school in Gurgaon- a school is the building block for students. When we talk about our school lives, either we go on and on about the moments and experiences that we have lived or we stay speechless trying hard to find the words for exhibiting thankfulness. And the major credit of whatever we are today goes to the school and its learning- that annoyed us back then.

Here’s a list of things that started with my days at Noida international School like Genesis Global School and ended never!

Genesis Global School

•Handwriting home works: I still remember writing one page every day- of whatever content- as my homework just to improve hand writing. All the students were given this as a daily chore and I can’t thank enough my teachers for the awesome handwriting I have developed for life!

•News: This used to be the most hated task where we had to read the newspaper to write five important headlines for the day. If this wouldn’t have been a daily practice, I really wouldn’t have developed the habit of reading the newspaper daily.

•Debate: The teachers literally used to push us for this- taking part in the intra as well as interschool competitions. My parents and friends might not be very happy about me being great at arguments, but for me, the stage fear doesn’t exist.

•Thought of the day: One motivating thought for the day needed to be practiced every morning and thanks to the school for all the positivity in all the mornings of my life- even in the gloomiest of the days.

The learning of school undoubtedly stays forever!

The school-trip checklist for parents!

Trips are fun. Going to an unknown place, crossing new roads and meeting new people gives an experience too wonderful to be missed!

Schools understand the importance of trips and they arrange for trips and tours to give a fun-filled break to the monotonous study schedule. In India, the concept of school trips is not novel. Be it a day school in Noida or a boarding institution in Saket, the school management fixes for a number of educational as well as leisure trips.

Genesis Global School

Some schools like Noida international school even make it a routine occurrence. They make sure that trips are scheduled at least once a month-so that the kids stay youthful and lively.

But packing for school trips is one responsibility that goes straight to the parents- especially mothers! Kids are too naïve to pack for themselves and so the list of essentials is to be taken care of by their parents. If your kid is also about to go out on a trip, here’s a checklist you should consider.

•First aid kit: Bandages, antibiotic cream, pain reliever sprays and antiseptic liquid-pack enough for his entire trip and also make sure that it’s handy and can be carried on way.

•Accessories: We all know that school trips are not the best times to wear expensive jewelry. Pack only what’s required- a waterproof cheap watch for example!

•Daily items: Don’t forget to keep towels, tooth brush, tooth paste, slippers and soap- items that are too primary to be forgotten.

•MP3 player: It’s true that he’s going to be engaged with his friends and teachers, but school trips could be long and tedious and an Mp3 player could work as a savior sometimes. Make sure it’s fully charged. Also pack the charger.

And while you’re packing your kid’s bag, teach them how to pack for convenience. This would gradually develop a skillful packer in him.

The favorite games of all time!

Games are important parts of our lives! Imagine working all day and night and never indulging into fun! How boring it would be as a student to go to the school, immerse into books, take examinations and repeat! The truth is that we cannot even imagine the absence of games and entertainment from our lives.

Be it a day school for kids or a boarding institution, participation of students into fun-filled games is strongly encouraged by the authority. Schools mandatorily carry the famous “games” period into the time tables of students to make sure that their lives do not become monotonous and stagnant.

Child day schools in Noida

Also, there are some games that we learnt in schools but still play as adults. These are the games that still bring smiles on our faces and make us take a break from our hectic schedule. Here’s a list of games that transcend the concept of time and phases of life. These games have been favorites since forever and would continue to be too.

•Hide and seek: This classic game would always be one of the favorites and no wonder we still play it- though the closet-hiding feels a bit difficult. Discovering newer places to hide used to a pastime back then.

•Musical chairs: Musical chairs used to be a function-favorite and some of the child day schools in Noida organize musical chairs on every occasion- from Children’s day and Christmas to Independence Day and Republic Day. It still remains common in family gatherings and festivals.

•Dumb charades: This popular game has brought out the actors in a lot of people.  Such was the charm of this game that we have even played it during our classes and it still remains a hit when we have absolutely nothing to do in our leisure time.

The bottom line is that games are inseparable part of our lives!

Boarding Schools- NOT as scary as you think!

Boarding school to children are more like a punishment. It sounds like a detention where the parents threats to send their naughty kids to. But in reality, are the boarding schools that bad? Are they actually dark and strict bringing the happy life of the child to a stand-still? The answer is a big NO!
Well, boarding schools are nowhere close to what you can call a ‘punishment’. Dear parents, stop scaring your children from staying away from you and studying! They would eventually have to do it when they grow up; according to a research, it is said that these types of threats have deep rooted impact in a child’s mind which can make it difficult for him to cope with staying apart from family even when they are grown up.

In fact, the decent residential schools in India provide students with a holistic development. They nurture the talent in them, make them independent and smart! I would suggest the Indian parents to encourage their children to study in a boarding for atleast a few years of their life!

boarding school in india

And for students, I would like to say, boarding are FUN! I have been a student of a residential school, which is now counted as one of the best boarding schools in India. Thankfully, my parents never scared me to the concept of a boarding school, and I am glad they didn’t! Apart from the initial home-sickness, there is nothing that you should be worried about.

It has made me a disciplined person, and someone who does not depend on others to take a decision. Moreover, my boarding school has given me innumerable memories with my friends and teachers. I have, and always will go back to those fun filled days! I would definitely send my children to boarding school as well because it’s an experience worth cherishing whole life!

The Rise of Day Boarding Schools

A lot of people only know, the two main types of schooling methods that are boarding school and day school. But there is another type of schooling that is slowly emerging, and that is of day boarding school. Now one might ask what is the difference between a day school and a day boarding school and the answer to that is, that in day school,  students usually stay at the school from morning to afternoon, in well, the daytime only. But in a day boarding school, students usually stay at the school for longer hours, perhaps till evening, and sometimes even have meals at the school only.

Now, if one went out to search for the best school in Noida, Delhi or any other region, they would probably find many. But finding a day boarding school is a slight bit harder find. Day boarding schools, incorporate the best parts of both boarding and day school, and allow a child to get the best of both worlds.
boarding school in Delhi NCR

Although they might be hard to find in Delhi itself, one can find a day boarding school in Delhi NCR region. And this type of school is actually something that a lot of parents these days are looking for. The reason for this being, that a lot of the families these days are nuclear families, and even in that, in today's modern times, both the parents are working, leaving very little time to their kids and loads of opportunity for them to get in with the bad crowds.

A day boarding school would ensure that the child is within the supervision of the trained staff and teachers and also able to do many other activities that one would not be able to do in the regular school times. Like extra-curricular and sports activities

The benefits of effective listening

Everyone has so much to say. We miss out on so many little details because we are busy in speaking and we barely listen. Listening is an art and there are certain benefits that listening provides you with. It is difficult to be patient and listen to what the other person says, but it has its own set of benefits. I went to one of the reputed residential schools in India as a child and I remember having special meditation classes wherein we were taught the art of effective listening. Also, we were told about the benefits that one gains from it. Here are some of them, which I have experienced in my own life:

boarding schools in India

Pleasing personality
Everyone likes a person who listens! Yes, it is true. If you are always eager to talk, lesser people show interest in you. Listen to people as it makes you a person you everybody wants to talk to! Not only people trust you more, they find a friend in you. I have been complimented many a times by the closest of my friends that I listen to them with full intent.

Observation skills
If you listen to someone with concentration, you get to observe that person closely. The more you observe you get to know that person better. This helps you in getting an idea as to who is how if you are in a new environment and behave accordingly with people. This is a big benefit and once you are in the corporate world, you will make use of it!

Better memory & understanding
You would not forget the little details that someone talks about. You have vivid memory and better understanding. This is extremely useful for students. If they listen to the lessons in class, half of their work is done! The more closely you listen, the better you understand and remember! My school, one of the best boarding schools in India has inculcated in me the art of being a good listener, and I am reaping the benefits till date!

An All Round Development for Kids

In this progressive environment where parents are working, every parent worries about the ethical and moral values that their children need to ingrain in their psyche to grow up as a human being. So in order to make their children more perceptive for the future competition and to make them more imaginative, the parents are gearing up by opting for unconventional courses.

Various courses in dance, photography and designing etc. are introduced in several schools in Noida and are proving to be popular among the parents. Stressing on the level of competition the children have to face to even get into higher studies, every one of them need to get prepared. The schools are strapping up the kids by underlining their need to be an all-rounder. State of the art studios are being introduced and more interactive methods of teaching are being thought of. Making presentations and audio-visual study books are proving to be propitious for the children.

Schools in Noida

To make the children more amenable the parents are ready to shift all over the country, the need to put the child over their comfort is taking the front seat. Over the years various child day schools in Noida being set up and a shift can be seen among the worried parents. These schools offer more attention to the students as the number of students in one class is limited. Other than that, huge infrastructures and unconventional subjects seem to be working in the favor of these schools. The education not just limited to the traditional math-science dialects, rather a well round and sound development is being stressed upon. Gender neutrality is being offered in schools too which is imperative for sound adulthood, no gender specified course are practiced which is another relief for the parents.

Stay in touch with your long-distance friend

We are devastated if our best friends move to a different city. Probably all of us have been through this ordeal some time or the other in their lifetime. You certainly can’t let go of your bond due to distance, can you? You would have to come up with ways in which you are still in touch with your best buddy like you always were.

My best friend and I were together since our childhood days in a public school in Noida. It was like we never needed anyone if we were with each other. Our school days passed as if it was a collection of our countless memories and we were together all the time. At school, after school and on our way to school! We had to discuss everything with each other. Our closeness was often envied by our siblings as we were visibly closer to each other than our own siblings!

Childhood days

All hell broke loose when she was sent to one of the renowned boarding schools in India for higher studies. We were devastated. But as the time of her departure came close we planned to be in touch with each other in a way we don’t miss our time together much.

Talk everyday
Be it over calls or message. We had to be in touch every single day. It is weird because every day you don’t have something special to share, but we found peace in telling each other about our daily routine and I was anyways excited to know about her new school.

Video chat once a week
We made it a point that any one day of the week we would make time to video chat with each other, even if that meant during our exams. We religiously followed that. We did not get that ‘feeling’ of chatting up with each other unless we saw ourselves. She showed her room and introduced her room-mate too over video chat!

Never hide anything
Concealing thing from your best friend can ruin the bond. So we promised we won’t hide anything from each other. We shared every single detail of our lives and we still remain best friends!

Good teachers vs. school facilities

Comparing teachers with schools facilities- sounds absurd- does it? I am not here to make any kind of judgements but many people do decide upon a school for their child solely on the basis of the infrastructural facilities the school provides. They are willing to shell out some extra money to provide the comfort the child is so used to at home. And that is absolutely fine as long as the original and primary purpose of schooling i.e. education doesn’t take a back seat.

Schools in Noida

But if I ask you to choose one- a relative unpopular school that just provides the basic facilities but has great and passionate teachers vs a renowned school providing every comfort known to mankind with average teachers- what would you do? From what I have learned in the last few years, I have come to the conclusion that hardships exist to help one forge one’s character and the greatest minds in history were fostered under the care of their great mentors. If we read about the greatest inventors, scientists, doctors, etc., we would realise that the most significant inventions which have become necessities in this day and age, were made under extreme circumstances. I firmly believe that the varied facilities merely exist to facilitate the process of education. I have had the fortune of encountering some of the best teachers, even though I didn’t study in one of the best schools in Noida. And while I did not have a chance to study in air conditioned rooms or with the fastest and latest computers, the quality of education could not have been better. Unlike many others, our teachers actually liked teaching us and their passion was apparent in their conduct.

So, ensuring that your child studies in one of the best child day schools in Noida, or the best school in Delhi is great, but please make sure he/she gets the best of real and holistic education as well.

Noida is All about the Best Education

Noida is quickly emerging as a perfect place for parents wanting the best of education. The lack of population there has allowed many schools to build large and luxurious buildings which will help a student to achieve an all-around development.

Teeming with schools right now, from day care schools in Noida to certified crèches and also an abundance of regular schools which will see to a students education from 1st grade to 12th grade.
Schools in Noida attract kids and parents from all over Delhi and even if the commute is long they are willing to do it just to get the best education for their kids. Here are a few reasons that these schools are attracting so many people:

Schools in Noida

1.Large Infrastructure:
The fact that not many people populate Noida at the moment has allowed schools to go all out and build lavish and big buildings that are able to house more equipment and better adapted to be able to allow a student to try their hand at some of the branches that wouldn’t necessarily be available at schools in the more populated areas of Delhi.

2.Teacher-Student Bond:
The fact that few people live in Noida again works to the advantage of the schools as it allows the teachers and students to build a more holistic and well-rounded relationship. Also fewer students can allow the teacher to give more and at the same time equal attention to the students in their classes.

3.Lack of Distractions:
Almost every positive for the rise of schools in Noida can be attributed to the lack of population in the area. So that sort of works in the students favour as it does not let them get distracted by the many distractions of city life.

4.Working Parents equal Day Care Needs:
There are a lot of corporate offices in Noida and especially for young parents this can be very difficult as how to maintain their hectic careers and their child. But the rise of day care schools in Noida has come as a welcome relief to many parents.

Day Boarding - the best option for working moms

As a working mother of a 3 year old, I was facing the dilemma of my life. It was time I admitted my son to a pre- school and I got a fantastic job offer which I couldn’t refuse. I didn’t know how to manage him and my job. Leaving my job was not an option and compromising on my son’s proper education and care was not an option either. I was advised by a friend of mine who was in a similar situation herself a few years back. She gave me the information about one of the best day boarding in Delhi and I inquired about the place myself after that.

Day school for Kids

It was aided with the best facilities that claimed to take care of the growing children. They provided the beginner level lessons to kids just the way they would like it. The curriculum was designed exactly according to the age of the kids and their grasping level. It had all the amenities that took care of the overall safety and well-being of the child, leaving the parents with no chance to complain. I found the place reliable and the best option as a solution to my situation. With full support from my husband, my decision was executed within a week before my joining. Both of us kept an eye on their ways of managing the kids and we made sure our son suffered in no ways. Surprisingly, it seemed our little boy found great pleasure in his day school.

This day school for kids provided my son with the right amount of ‘education’ in a fun way and he enjoyed his time spent there. I am thankful that I took the decision and now I can manage my career and my son simultaneously. I know my son is well looked after during the day which leaves me with time to dedicate to my work!

My experience in a boarding school

Let me be absolutely honest! I could not sleep during the first few nights after my parents told me about their decision to send me to a boarding school in a different city. I pleaded to not send me away, promised I would behave myself, and even threatened to never talk to them again- I did all I could to change their mind. While they were extremely kind and repeatedly said that it was for my own benefit, I refused to believe them. I was just in 5th grade and simply could not understand the reason behind sending their only child away. But how often do children understand their parents? Rarely!

boarding school

They told me every day that they loved me and were sending me to the best boarding school in India for my own growth and development. But I did not wish to study in the best school in an alien city; I simply wanted to stay with my parents in our house and study alongside my cherished friends in my regular school. The days passed by and the big day finally arrived. In hopes of convincing my parents at the last moment, I did not stop crying. But they just hugged me, told me that they would call me every day, and then handed me over to the person in charge.

Let me admit- the first few days were probably the most difficult days of my life. But owing to the training that each teacher and care taker had been given, each of them was extremely compassionate. With the passage of time, I grew more comfortable, made new friends, and started concentrating on my studies too. Unlike my earlier school, skipping co-curricular activities was not an option there. Considering that I hated sports earlier, it’s only a miracle that I learnt to play basketball. And you know what, I would not have learnt so much in a regular school where I would have been absolutely comfortable in my comfort zone. The school truly was the best boarding school. If your parents are planning to send you to a boarding school, you would feel dejected initially. But always keep in mind that life would undoubtedly get better and you would be grateful to your parents when you grow up and look back, just as I am!

KIDS ON BOARD

It is true that the love of parents is irreplaceable and one of its kind. Parents love and care for their kids irrevocably and unconditionally. But in this modern world, when both the parents are busy earning bread for their family, there has to have a substitution for the home the parents provide. A boarding school, apart from providing the basic studies that a school should provide, is home to a lot of children whose parents do not find enough time to interact with their kids. The parents understand the fact that it’s difficult to work and take time out for their children simultaneously. Such parents put their kids into boarding schools or residential schools so that their growing needs are not compensated. A boarding school provides them food, shelter and companions so that they never feel deserted.
Residential school

Residential schools unite students from different corners of the country. This helps a student know about different languages and traditions. A residential schools keeps the student involved in various activities related to sports, music and dance. A student is prepared for national as well as international competitions right from the beginning. This helps students develop confidence to face a number of audience. Some of the best residential schools in india boast of the luxuries they provide to the students apart from focusing on the overall development of a student. These schools have separate hotels or dormitories or hostels for girls and boys. Some of the luxurious boarding schools provide attached bathroom facilities and air conditioned hostels. These schools provide a hygienically maintained dining halls catering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. To educate the students about proper etiquettes and table manners, these schools serve formal lunches and dinners to the students. Such boarding schools are a great opportunity to make the students compete with their counterparts on international platform.

BOARDING SCHOOLS- A DEVELOPMENT TOOL

Many people believe that living in a hostel is necessary for discipline and academic excellence. Therefore, many parents with affordable means prefer their children to join a boarding school to their studying in a day-time government or public school. One of the many reasons given for this preference is the extremely busy schedule of both the parents. This forces them to part with their children, when they are young, and send them to boarding schools. The children might acquire a sense of homesickness and loneliness in the beginning but sending the kids to boarding school is a great long term perspective because boarding school indeed teaches values such as social adjustment, leadership, initiative, and sharing quite effectively. The long term benefits of sending a child to a boarding school are sure to make a deep impact on his career and life. Boarding schools have great facilities for overall- child development.  The child is taught to make his general decisions there- choose his companions, find his own time to study, mix with all kinds of students and face day-to-day problems on his own. The best boarding school is the one where a child becomes less dependent on others and gains a sense of autonomy. Children that pass out from boarding schools are better at adjusting to all kinds of situations because they are exposed to all kinds of environment and are made to survive even in the adverse conditions.

boarding school

Some of the boarding schools in India offer multiple extracurricular activities for the development as well as enjoyment of the children. Some of the boarding schools of North India have programs for rock climbing and mountaineering. Some of them offer a grand campus and world class facilities to acquire unmatched reputation. On the whole, boarding schools act as tools of self-development in the life of children.

Importance of physical activities

Gone are the days when the parents and teachers were solely concerned about the children’s academic performance. The role of physical activities in a child’s development cannot be overemphasized. With the never-ending innovation in technology, it is becoming increasingly difficult for parents to entertain their children without the use of smartphones and tablets. When my 6 year old cousin visits my place with his mother, I find it impossible to keep him busy otherwise. While technology has indeed made our lives easier, it has certain negative implications too. I see less and less students involved in outdoor activities with each passing year. This trend needs to be changed.

This is where the top day schools for kids come into the picture. Not only do these schools take good care of the kids, but they manage to keep the little ones away from the tablets and phablets, even if only for a short duration. Good schools follow a holistic approach to education by emphasizing equally on physical education and extra-curricular activities. The same cousin of mine goes to one of the best day scholars in Noida and has already learnt the basics of swimming and skating. These activities have given a proper direction to his overflowing energy that earlier used to make his mom go crazy. There is no need to explain the numerous benefits of physical activities, but I have briefly mentioned some of them anyway:

  1. Children involved in sports would be fitter than those who prefer indoor activities. Kids who dislike exerting themselves in outdoor activities face an increased risk of obesity.
  2. Such activities also improve the emotional well-being of children, helping them stay happy and focused.
  3. Children active in outdoor sports have better coordination skills.
  4. Developing a keen interest in sports at a tender age helps them stay healthy throughout their lives.

There are many other benefits that can be derived from sports. Participating in physical activities would immensely help your child in the long run!

A CHILD WITHOUT EDUCATION IS LIKE A BIRD WITHOUT WINGS

In a fast paced world like ours, amidst the everyday hustle and bustle, we forget to notice how competitive our society has become. From where you studied, to what you studied even to be extent of how you pronounce certain words, are you the one who says on-ve-lope, or the ones who say en-ve-lope, the ni-ke-s or the ni-kee-s, everything is monitored, everything is scrutinised in a way so as to make oneself appear superior, sophisticated than the other.

Noida International schools

This is where quality education comes into play. Education not only means learning the ABCs of academics, but also the ABCs of the society and its etiquettes. It not only teaches you to read out a letter, but also how to make your letters worth reading. Dressing up prim and proper for school, it teaches you how to dress up for interviews. From washing your hands before eating to lending a shoulder to your friend crying. How to say your prayers every morning, how to thank god for everything. Schools are the sanctum of the troubled hearts and the curious minds, where they learn how to love and how to rhyme. Education is the art of turning mirrors into windows, and is the key to a brighter tomorrow.

The Genesis school run by the Wave group is among the top Noida international school. Learning here is living amidst inspiring thoughts and dancing to new ideas.  Envisioning in itself a whole new promising world of learning and opportunities, it is the best child day schools in Noida. BENEFITS OF SENDING YOUR CHILD TO BOARDING SCHOOL

Are both you and your spouse working? With no elders at home, it is impossible to leave your child unattended. The most common thing to do would be leaving him in the care of Child Day Care Schools. Let’s consider a scenario. You are working part time in an office in Noida. Naturally you would start looking for the best child day care schools in Noida, so that it is easier for you to drop and pick him, and don’t have to stay away for him for long. Now let me ask you a question. How many times did you think of your child during your office hours? I doubt you would be able to give me a clear number, because you were constantly preoccupied with the thought regarding his wellbeing. Right?

Now imagine sending him to a boarding school (after a couple of years obviously). I am sure this mere thought sent shivers down your spine. But think clearly! If both the parents are ambitious, and super busy with their work and no time on their hands, what should they do? One of the many options is to send him to a boarding school. Here are the reasons why you should send him to the best boarding school in the vicinity:

1.Discipline

We will often find children more groomed, disciplined and independent after being to a boarding school. A boarding school imparts great training to those children who are naughtier than acceptable, unpunctual (like me), or disobedient.

2.Better quality of education

A boarding school usually has a better teaching staff than a day school. The teachers are dedicated, sincere, and more educated themselves. Your child is definitely going to learn a lot more in a boarding school than an average day school.

3.Sports and extra-curricular activities

A boarding school ensures a well-rounded development of the children. Be it sports or co-curricular activities, your child is sure to get it all.

It’s better to have a long, healthy conversation over phone once or twice a day than seeing your young one many times a day, yet giving him a feeling of being neglected. It’s a choice that will decide the future of your baby. Make it right!

-The call is to pay the bills of calls.

True, that a child care is supposed to be at the beck and call of the child every time he needs it. But, that should not mean that all the calls, be it from the phone company, the gas company, the mortgage company are supposed to be attended and paid to by the providers.

-A disciplined approach for kids and parents alike

It’s a healthy practise to acquaint the parents on all the rules involving transportation, food to be served and other health care issues so as to avoid any tussles in future. Parents should be well aware of all the rules and should try as much to make adjustments accordingly, if any. If not, the parents always have a free mandate to walk away, and the day care providers always have the choice to not keep the child, says the principal of one of the top public schools in Noida.

-Leaving providers out of domestic spats and tussles

Every family goes through its share of domestic troubles and disagreements. But that should never mean that you drag the day care into the battle field. Remember, they have got nothing to do with whatever happens inside or outside their work. Keep them out of all the spats and rows to avoid any further complications.

-Not fretting when the child gets scratched

Most parents blow the situation out of proportion when their child gets bruised. Remember, scratched and scrapes will happen, unless you don’t want your tot to play around, says a teacher of the best Noida International school.

Providers have all the right in the world to charge extra fees for every hour when parents are unable to pick up their children. Many day cares are making it a point to inform parents on this issue in advance just so if anything of the sort happens, parents don’t get the privilege of denial.

-Care providers are not housekeepers

Care providers DON’T/ are not supposed to do your child’s dishes or do up his laundary. That is not to say that day cares don’t wash your child’s soiled clothing or wipe off the mud of his shoes, but then, that can only happen up to a point. Parents need to realize that by doing so, they are only being gracious and concerned about the child’s well-being.

• They are better prepared for college.

• A sense of community and tolerance breeds in them which is otherwise hard for parents to teach them to such extents

• They have their own network of alumni and mates who will prove to be valuable professional contacts in the future, says a teacher at a top day school for kids.

• Boarders are also good at time management, a trait many managers and adult professionals strive to hard to master.

• Maturity and ability to take critical decisions are few other traits. However the list doesn’t end here.

But if your child is too young or too soft for the change and separation, the move can even backfire. An introvert child when forced to stay away from family might not be able to cope with the emotional trauma. They may recede away from the family or struggle to establish a
