Guardians should always encourage extra circular activities

Needless to say, there are several things that children can do during their vacations. But unlike earlier, where dance and drawing classes were preferred, contemporarily, summer camps hits the priority list of 56% kids. There are many public schools in Noida, Delhi and Gurgaon that organizes their own summer camps during the vacations.

Thus, if you’ve been thinking to get your child enrolled into a dance or a drawing class in the approach vacation, it is advisable to drop this idea, as there’s a lot more that, your child will get to know in a summer camp.

Varying from dance classes to sports and drawing to golf training, your kid will come across diverse options to choose from. Contemporarily, besides public schools in Noida and Delhi, there are some of the best boarding schools that are organizing their own summer camps and interestingly, earlier when students eagerly waited for their vacation so that they can visit their home, majority of the students prefer joining the summer classes. This is when, they get to learn and explore countless things including respect and taking care of their elders, which is the prime requirement of this hour to familiarize our kids with moral values.

Summer camps lend a helping hand to children to become responsible, teach them imperativeness of giving and sharing. Above all, your child here will be enabled to take the right decisions in life, which is most important in long term prospects, say a summer camp trainer.

However, next time whenever your child will ask for your approval for a summer camp, instead of disheartening kid with a big ‘no’, think over it twice. This acceptance will eventually make your child a much better human being in long run.

Parents’ approach towards changing education system

The education system in India is no longer rigid and complex; the modern reforms and holistic approach towards education have transformed the environment being offered in educational institutes. The schooling patterns in India have changed for the better, thus parents also need to change their mindset where overall development and academics are compared.

The orthodox Indian mindset is inclined towards academics; we tend to prioritize academics over extracurricular activities. But the revolutionary teaching techniques introduced by residential schools in India are now being adopted by day schools as well. The educational practices are no longer focused around high grades and mugged up lessons; it is more interactive and diversified now.

Educational institutes are including unconventional subjects like foreign languages, photography, creative arts etc.; special focus is being given to sports activities. They are valuing and encouraging all forms of talent in their curriculum and this has quickly gained popularity in metro cities; schools in Noida Delhi etc. are offering excellent coaching to encourage these.  Thus parents should also understand that not all children are made of the same mold. Some may excel in academics, some in sports or in arts, they need to recognize their child’s talent and encourage it by all means, rather than burdening him with unnecessary pressure of grades and ranks. Parents should encourage basic understanding of the subject matter over superficial knowledge and mugged up content; as this might ensure good grades initially but is harmful in the long run. Moreover learning creates unnecessary pressure over children and the time that could be used to nurture other skills in them, is consumed by studies.

The schools are also encouraging children to develop hobbies and adopt multiple talents, though this kind of approach is spreading slowly and is more popular in schools in Noida, Delhi, and Bombay etc. However most of the residential schools in India are using this approach while training students. This is partly due to the global environment and also because the students are living here so they have more time to nurture different hobbies and take maximum benefits of the various facilities available.
Thus guardians should also respond to the change in a positive way as it will encourage an overall development of their wards’ personality.

Boarding school Vs. Day School

Choosing the right educational institute for your child is an important but difficult decision to make. What makes this more confusing is that residential ones can weigh slightly heavy on the quantitative scale, whereas the regular ones have fewer, but some of the very substantial advantages. What will suit your child depends on the kind of values you want to assimilate into your child’s psyche. The basic understanding of the environmental and ethical difference between the two can be of help while deciding.

The normal public schools in Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, and other metro cities have evolved a lot.   Especially within the last decade, public schools in Noida have seen great development. They are offering similar infrastructure and extra-curricular activities that can match the standards offered by the boarding schools in India. The most important advantage of a traditional educational establishment is that the child is under the close supervision of parents, and nothing can be more important to a child than the love and care of a parent. Secondly, the life style is less hectic; a child still has a lot of time to spend on his own, which is unregulated by discipline and rules. Another advantage is that those children who need some extra help in academics can get tuitions and coaching. Affordability is another advantage and regular ones are more economical than the residential educational institutes.

However, the benefits of such educational establishments are also undisputed. Some of the boarding schools in India are of international reputation as well. Diversity is an advantage that day schools don’t afford, but these have students from all over the country and even abroad, the child gets an exposure to vast cultural diversity, which makes them open minded. Then discipline is another advantage, the life here is well disciplined and every hour of the day is scheduled by a strict timetable. This teaches them self-adherence and time-management, which are some of the most essential lessons to be learnt in life. The extra-curricular activities and non-conventional courses offered are unmatched; the student has an option to choose a subject of their choice amongst a vast variety of courses. These factors contribute towards a distinguished and polished personality.

Thus, the pros and cons of both the types of institution are different. Hence the choice should be made wisely.

An Interesting first day at the school

The biggest dilemma in shifting to a new town is to find the right school for your child. Children are very reluctant towards the change in their surroundings; however they are the quickest to adopt it, grasping whatever good or bad things that come their way. So I had to be extra conscious before choosing a school for my child when I shifted to Noida.

The city has the reputation of holding some of the best international schools in India, so this initially impressed me but my child is a little introvert and doesn’t enjoy company outside his niche; this makes it even more difficult for me to choose the best school in Noida for him. He has always been very unwilling to join a new school, initially I literally have to drag him to the school, and this custom is to be followed for more than a month before he can take up to the surroundings.

So this time when I chose one of the most reputed international school in India I was devastated at the thought of how long it would take him to adjust even though the place had the reputation of being the best school in Noida. I let him take the bus on the very first day thinking that could break some ice. After this I decided to visit and meet his teacher on my own. When I told her about his problem, she assured me that they are aware of it as most transfer cases suffer from this problem. She also told me that they had planned in advance about this and I should ask him about his experience. I liked the way how they had specially considered my child even before I could ask them to, but I was not so sure about their plan. As I know my son to be of a shy nature, and anything that would make him the center of attention at the very first day will make him very reluctant. However I left him at the teacher’s disposal.

At the end of the day my child told me that they were made to do tinkering projects in groups and he was allotted the smallest and the best group, I was shocked to see that he was referring to classmates as friends on the very first day. He told me that they repaired a broken toy and theirs was the best project. I was amazed and thankful to the school’s thoughtful plan; they had actually studied my child’s file and chosen up an activity of his interest, grouping him with children of similar disposition. This was his introductory class and that was the best introduction he ever had at a school. When I tried to thank the teacher she dismissed it saying it was a routine with every new child, and appraising was the key to their heart. Thus I realize how our education system has reformed for the better.

Boarding school for girl child

Earlier, majority of people had misconception about what girls boarding school is all about, but now with advancement in educational genre and the way how media has depicted true picture of these boarding schools in India, there’s a world of difference in the way mindset has changed.

Few years back, lack of familiarity about boarding schools in India has led to encouragement of conventional ideologies that boarding schools in India is meant for those bratty young girls who gang up on ostracized ones, which has got nothing to do with genuineness of these boarding schools. Thankfully, over the years, these boarding schools have covered milestones and have come a long way in leaving such conventional ideologies behind and are actively beating some of the best schools of India.

If you have been searching for a girl’s boarding school in Noida, but for some reason you ended up with mess, then you needn’t despair any more. Just check out online and you will come across as many boarding schools in Noida that exclusively cater to girls, as you desired for. Likewise, many other private boarding schools, you’ll come across a big waiting list in these schools thus, it’s advisable that you should be a patient observer in order to make an informed decision. Unlike general schools, admissions procedure is a bit stringent in such boarding’s so, make sure that you do not leave any of the imperatives unchecked.

Conclusively, young women in boarding schools that cater exclusively to girls are also endowed with different leadership opportunities so you should not worry about your angel by thinking that will she be able to counter the world confidently or not? There are different self-improvement sessions that are organized to prepare the students in such a way that they can counter the world boldly and act in lines with requirement of an hour.

Secret mantra to secure excellent results

No matter, you are in your primary standard or you are all grown up all set to give your 10th or 12th board examination, if you don’t adhere to a fixed time table, you are bound to taste the medicine of failure soon enough.  If you wish to score excellent results in each of your subjects then merely emphasizing on one subject throughout the year will not help you in any which way. You should thus, draft a time table for you in order to score good grades.

In order to ensure the above mentioned thing, time tables are allotted even in best Schools in India. You can ask a friend studying at any National or International school in India and they would have the same opinion. Say for instance: Imagine you are allotted only mathematics classes throughout the day and God forbid, if you are bit weak in mathematics then, how will you cope up with it? Indeed you would want to run as far away as your legs could take you. Similarly, instead of confining your skills to a particular subject, get a proper time table drafted by your parents, teachers or it would be icing on the cake, if you can manage it on your own. This is because there’s no one who could understand your strengths and weakness in terms of your studies and not even the best schools in India, if I can put it that way.

Be it a national or International school in India, every single school allots a time-table to their students, to be adhered to. A well-drafted timetable will lend you a helping hand in making you stay on track in parallelism to your studies. Once you will have a time table, you’ll be able to devote sincere time for each and every subject of yours, which will benefit you in exam days. If you’ve been consistently and most importantly, sincerely studying throughout the year, all you will need to do is revise your allotted course and happily give your exams. But for those who try to act smart, do not have a time-table to follow, pick up any of the subjects randomly will undeniably end up digging up a stress-pit for them.

On and all, the choice is all yours, so good luck and gear up to secure an easy A1 in all your subjects.
